Secondary Enrichment

Heyford Park School Enrichment offers your child valuable opportunities to take part in a wide range of activities. Enrichment promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills, improves the ability to concentrate, and make learning more meaningful, valuable, and rewarding. Enrichment activities are fun, which helps students to become more engaged in their learning and retain more information.

These activities operate on both sites from Monday to Thursday.  There are both free and paid activities on offer, so please encourage your children to attend as much as possible.

Activities and Clubs

We are excited to begin planning our extracurricular clubs and enrichment opportunities for secondary students for the next academic year.

To ensure we offer a high-quality and sustainable programme that best meets the interests and needs of our students, we will publish the full list of extracurricular clubs in September. This will allow us time to finalise the most effective arrangements and confirm our complete staffing team for the upcoming academic year.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we carefully develop a programme that provides engaging, enriching, and enjoyable opportunities for all students.

Further information will be shared at the start of the new academic year.

Thank you for your continued support.

Kind regards

Sports and Fitness

Our sports teams continue to thrive, with opportunities for students to participate in football, netball, basketball, rounders and athletics. Fixtures are usually held on a Tuesday. Teams are organised during PE lessons and tutor times, but matches will be afterschool.

Safety and Guidelines

As always, we are committed to ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe and supportive environment. Please be assured that all clubs and sports will adhere to our health and safety protocols, including supervision by trained staff members.

We believe that participation in extracurricular activities is an important part of a well-rounded education, and we are excited to see our students grow in their interests and abilities. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the school office or the respective club coordinators.

Thank you for your continued support in making this a successful and enriching experience for your child.
