Join Us for a Taster Day

I hope you’ve had a good half term and are enjoying the lighter evenings.

I am delighted to invite you to attend our Year 5 Secondary Taster Day at Heyford Park School on Friday, 19th June 2026.

This special event is designed to give Year 5 students an exciting introduction to secondary school life. Throughout the day, students will take part in engaging activities that complement the primary curriculum, offering a taste of subjects such as Maths, Science, PE, Art/DT, and Humanities. It is a fantastic opportunity to experience new subjects, meet staff, and explore our school environment.

The Taster Day will run from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm.
 

Students will need to bring:

• Writing utensils
   
• A packed lunch and water bottle
   
• Current school uniform/ sensible footwear for practical lessons
